bruit brut is an apparatus for audio storytelling. The keyboard layout allows you to compile a track using different sounds you record yourself or source online. You can either use one of our presets themes or make your own. Record the track with your in-computer recording software, an online recording tool is currently in development.

How to make your own bruit brut layout:

1. 1. Download the file from this link
2. 2. Prepare 26 sounds as mp3 files and name them according to the letter they should be bound to ("a.mp3, b.mp3, c.mp3...")
3. 3. Place the mp3 files into audio/custom folder
4. 4. Customise the colors and name of your file (notes in the html file)
5. 5. Optionally add descriptions to your keys
6. 5. Have fun making your own soundtrack!
